Hello! I’m Megan Fisher and I’ve lived in New York City my whole life.
I’m still in high school and am working towards becoming a designer in the industry. My mom would take me and my sister on these long shopping trips around the city for like 8 hours when we were younger. When we would enter clothing stores, I loved to look at what was on the rack. I would take pieces that I thought fit my mom or sister’s styles, and pick out items for them to try on that I thought they would like.
That’s how my passion and love for fashion started, and it really just grew from then on. When I realized as a nine-year old kid that this was something I could do as a job, that was really eye-opening and I knew that I wanted to pursue a career someday in designing.
Living in a place like New York City has given me access to an environment that without, my love of design probably would have remained uncovered. I want to learn more about designing, but I also want to learn more about people and what kind of clothes they wear, and keep on evolving.
